Neighbourhood recycling sites

We manage a network of neighbourhood recycling sites that can be found across the borough.

You can use a simple search tool to find out where your nearest neighbourhood recycling site is:

• Perivale
• Southall

These sites provide a handy and convenient place to dispose of less common recycling items – such as shoes, clothes and textiles, and everyday electrical equipment such as kettles or toasters.

What can I take?

You can dispose of a whole range of items at the sites, including wood, mattresses, small electrical items, garden waste and larger appliances such as televisions, fridges and freezers. Please note, not all these items are accepted at Acton.

Please note, we do not accept any form of asbestos at the Greenford or Acton sites.

You must book a slot. Anyone who visits must follow the coronavirus safety rules at the centre.

Charges for non-household waste

Anyone disposing of mixed loads of construction, demolition or DIY waste will have to enter the site via the weighbridge and will be charged. The site accepts payment by debit/credit card only.

Trade/commercial waste is also subject to charges.
